Week's End

// I finally got motivated on my own to clear the clutter on my desk. When I showed and asked J if he spot any difference of my desk, he asked if it was the printer. Well, honey, it was always there. (Yah, it's that bad.)

// With a so-much-more organised desk, I am able to get my hands on the overdue Lovely Letters snail mail. Can't wait to drop them!

// There was something different when we were first served with a cup of ice water each. It was not your typical tap/boiled water nor was does it taste anything like those with lemons added in it. When the waitress brought the big flask to our table, I was amazed. I really like this combination! Maybe it's time to try fruits infused water for real.

// To spend a Sunday night with desserts and laugh ain't too shabby, and yes I am the colour combo breaker of the night. Booo.

Week's End

// Whenever Parry is back in town during school term break, the meet up we all have mostly consist of food. We crossed Samsui Ginger Chicken on his list and in return he shared a game of Balderdash. It was a good first meet and catching up!

// "Hi, I am almost eight weeks old and I like my new found hobby - eating drumstick."

// En Qi keeping herself occupied since Yi Xuan wasn't around to play with her. I really love watching kids and their imaginations.

// It's a good way to end the week when you are able to witness this gem getting drunk on milk.

Week's End

// Did a brief check list for our solemnisation. Although it's still a big question mark until I successfully clear the RC mission, I'm glad to have a plan on standby to also act as a form of motivation.

// Spent some time briefly with the kids before they head back home. Don't let this photo fool ya, it's only this peaceful after countless of toys snatching. They have a love-hate relationship with each other, just like my brother and me when we were younger. They are going to grow up loving each other, I tell ya.

// This kitty is so playful! I had such a difficult time snapping a decent photo because of the turning speed.

// I have finally pen down the Christmas list! Time for brother and me to crack our head and shop early!

Week's End

// Took turns to stand in for aunt and cousin-in-law when they need to cook or prepare milk for Edgar. No better way to brush up my mahjong skill with the pros right?

// Things I do for my infant nephews/nieces - take over any accessories around my neck or hand for their carrying comfort.

// Finally get to witness Edgar's expressions! He's so smiley and chatty!

Week's End

// Finally getting things done while J do his thang in the kitchen. I spent a good whole day being off the internet yesterday for a good cause. Maybe a good cause. It feels great to get those unread feed done on Bloglovin as well as clearing up my inbox. Life is good. *sips on imaginary cup of tea*

// I could smell it when J is more or less done with lunch! His dad and brother likes the sweet and sour chicken the most, though the dad feedback about the meat quantity. Haha. For me, I just love how soft the carrots were and those enoki and prawns totally complimented the dish. Mmmm~

// In my first point I mentioned about being in the invisible mode for a good cause. Well, my good cause is The Sims 4! I know, I know. That's like the most unproductive thing I can be doing, but hey, I AM a The Sims lover too. ;)

// J and I met up after dinner for ice-cream. The sky was red-ish and my mood for the day was totally killed by him in the afternoon, so a simple ice-cream that is! Come to think of it, I can't remember when was the last time I actually had an cone ice-cream from McDonald's.

Week's End

// It was a braid kind of day. A bowl of hot kimchi instant noodles, humid weather, rebellious hair. You get what I mean.

// Typing this during mask time. I should really pay more attention to my face and skin by feeding what's good for them.

// I can't get over how huge this golden retriever is! And you know what? He's only 10 months old!

Week's End

// The package from Paige is finally here! For a while we were worried about lost mail. Thanks for the content, gal! I love all of them!

// J seems to have lots of fate with spiral carparks tonight. He was making lots of inhumane sound while driving down the last of the night. He said the length of his uncle's car is to be blamed. Mmhmm.

// After a super crazy (to my mental state) day, it feels good to be home, to be somewhere I feel safe.

// Finally tried the churros from Spanish Doughnuts Singapore. It tasted like huge fries dipped in chocolate. A little over-rated if you ask me.

Week's End

// Baby Edgar says HI! His marshmallow-squeezeable-squishy cheeks are not as squishy anymore, but he's still as cuddly as before. I didn't carry him at all today because he was more wriggly than before, but it was fun to be witnessing his ever changing expressions. Here, he was leaning on my aunt like a boss, refusing to smile like an angel when I had my phone camera pointing at him. Guess what? He totally mocked me with the biggest smile after I gave up trying.

// Toys for kids these days are so advanced. We used to play with pieces of notes during Monopoly, now they have electronic unit to store and deduct money with. I don't even.

// Getting journal routine back. I have be slacking off for a long time. The best part is that there is nothing sucky about today to pen down! Woohoo!

// I'm totally debating between gathering items for Baby E's full month celebration and a simple red packet. I don't know, let's see where this week leads me to.

Week's End

// Reading the latest edition of Style:Weddings left me feeling inspired and worried about our pockets. One thing that we can be glad of is that our wedding is not happening any time sooner.

// While reading the magazine, Shania Twain's From This Moment On came up on the radio. How timely is that?

// The haze situation got worse compared to the day. It was all humid and not-so-pleasant smelling. I had to tie my hair up in order to continue with the chores. Speaking of which, parents are coming back tomorrow! Yay!

// Bake another batch of No Bake Cookies, this time with all ingredients in. I think I added slightly too much butter, but overall it was so much better with peanut butter. Mmmm~

Week's End

// It was a really humid and slow moving Sunday. All I had in mind was to be a worm in bed or sleep.

// En Qi joined me shortly after her cartoon ended on TV. She refused to take a nap with me but I was really keen with that, so I told her the Fairy of Sleep will not fly back if she doesn't want to sleep. She bought it. Although it took a loooong talking session before she succumb to that.

// Third consecutive night of supper with J after his work. I need to watch what I eat. Yikes.

// Look at how Xiao Bai chill like a king next to my thigh. It didn't bother him a single bit that I was cutting my nails.

Week's End

// Had sushi dinner with brother during one of the weeknight, it has been a while since we last dine out with just the two of us. Really nice to be catching up with his life, plans for after National Service, and of course gossips in his romance department though he is still single. What are big sisters for eh? ;)

// Yesterday I just felt soooo demotivated to be sitting in front of my desktop, heck, to be online. I don't know how to explain for the sudden urge to be disconnected for the day. The day ended up with me trying out the No-Bake Cookie recipe (which was part of my Weekly Wishes too). It may not have ended up superb, but I think I kinda succeeded for a first timer. Woohoo!

// Met this sweet kitty during a hunt for washroom while J waits to get his phone fixed. She actually followed me from the point we meowed, and she continue meowing when I was out of her sight after taking a left turn. Sweet right? We hung out a little while J went to the provision shop with the intention of getting a canned food for her, but too bad they don't sell anything for animals. Booo. Till next time, kitteh!

// A impromptu meet up with two ladies and the four of us had eight scoops of ice-cream. I am still amazed that we were able to finish off the plate. Mmmm~

Week's End

// While walking through Khoo Teck Puat Hospital's waterfront park for lunch one afternoon, PL pointed out this triplets on the side walk. They were huge! The first person came to my mind was Kaylah and her love for mushrooms!

// More washi tapes! Discover The Picnique Basket some time back and fell in love with washi tapes even more. It was a plus point that the shop ships from Singapore too, which means I get my items faster! I can see myself shopping for more tapes soon, but first I need to get my craft drawer tidy up.

// Spent the late evening with these little monsters yesterday. En Qi was getting all sassy with that pink spectacles of her. When she made me wear it and I cringe my nose, she said I wasn't lady like! The audacity!

// My aunt was preparing curry chicken and our sense of smell immediately picked up the fragrance by the time we arrive at her house! I almost drown my rice with curry. Almost.

Week's End

// Colourful writing papers, envelopes with added waishi tapes, stickers. I am quite proud of myself with these loots! Got them for a stationery swap but I'm not sad to part with them since they aren't my type of writing instruments. I'm happy how the waishi tapes and envelopes turned out though, it's definitely something I will incorporate in future mails.

// Other than filling up Google Calendar and Wunderlist, I'm trying out something different by writing a to-do-list just for weekends. I really like the idea of highlighting done items as suggested by Melyssa! Pretty excited to see if this is my kind of thing.

// For the longest time, I have mentioned about the crave for iced tea. I finally get a Shaken Iced Lemon Tea with Hibicus and boy do I hate it. I'm not sure if it's the acidic level of lemon or that hibicus flavour. Only way to find out is to try its green tea flavour.

// I have no problem bumming around the house during weekends, but I'm glad I was out when the weather was this good. Blue sky makes me happy.

You guys, it's officially the last day of August! I have a nagging voice inside that is warning me about the number of times "Wake me up when Septembers ends" I'll be seeing tomorrow. Sorry, but the joke is getting old. Too told. On a lighter note, I'm having mixed feeling about how fast the time is going by. Sure I am happy as well J and I are slowly inching towards our solemnization period (this word because we have yet to set on a date), but scary to feel there is not much achievements done. I am sure it is not the case, but it just feels like that at the moment.

Anyhoo, have a great day ahead!
