Lee Kuan Yew, Singapore's Founding Father

I am most uninterested when it comes to politics and whatsnot, it always feels like a chore to keep up with news and spend time flipping through papers. To learn about the passing of Singapore's founding father Mr Lee Kuan Yew, the nation has lost someone great.

When he was admitted to the hospital for infection attack, with condition going downhill more so ever since, I would be lying if I said I was 100% surprise. Seeing his frail physique, especially the passing of his wife, it further proved he was just an ordinary man as well at the end of the day.

The thought "How do the haters feel right now?" had popped up a few times while penning this post. Extreme curses when he was still strong as a bull leading the nation; speculating on a possible public holiday on his passing when he weakened after the passing of his spouse; doctored image of his death announcement when it was only his condition entering critical stage (and I still can't believe CNN believed and broadcast it -___-). Are these people celebrating or are they keyboard warriors who actually feeling something?

Today, we mourn for the loss of a man who brought independence to this little red dot with his great vision. My condolences goes out to all children of Singapore, especially the loved ones of Mr Lee Kuan Yew. Life continues for us as One People, One Nation, One Singapore. We will never forget the impact he had left in each individual.
